Garage sale time. I love it and hate it. The purging of junk that has collected in the house is so freeing, but the job of organizing, tagging, advertising, is just exhausting. I’m ready for it to be over, and I haven’t even had the first day of the sale yet.
At least during the down time, I can work on new crochet projects to post!
We just had a lovely little thunderstorm. I was able to sit on my comfortable couch, crochet, and watch the storm pass through my windows. I’m working on a gorgeous fall scarf. It’s so pretty, it makes me wish I wore scarves. It would be perfect for a fall evening out, but alas, I just look strange in them. So, someone else will be able to purchase this beauty and wear it.
I have so many projects that I am wanting to do. Sometimes, it is hard to choose one to start, because another one has popped up in my mind, and to choose is almost impossible.
The summer months are difficult for my shop. I don’t get as many orders June-August. So, to help pick up some sales, I’m offering a special today! You may enter 10OFF10 at checkout for 10% off any $10 or more purchase. http://www.etsy.com/shop/stitchesbymegan
First of all, I’m Megan, or as my children say, my name is Mom. I’m a mother to three gorgeous children. <–plus a little biased, since I think they are perfection. My oldest, Haylee, is almost seven, and will be starting first grade this year. My twins, Zak and Molly, will be five in August, and thankfully, I have another year with them before they start Kindergarten.
I’m married to a pretty fantastic husband, Walter. We’ve been together since highschool, so, almost ten years! We’ve been married for almost eight years now. Even after this time, I still am wildly in love with him.
A little about what my blogging will be about…Crocheting, patterns, recipes, motherhood, children, and just random thoughts that pop into my head. I’m always open to suggestions, so if there is something you would like to see me post, let me know! I own my own shop where I sell my crocheted items, and I would like to get to know my clients a little better, and let them into my life happenings more. So, make sure you check out http://www.etsy.com/shop/stitchesbymegan for all of your handmade/crocheted needs! There is something for everyone!
